Some critics say Sweet Pea's Revenge serves up a gumbo of music - steaming blues, rock and funk influences. We'd say it's a bit more of a bisque - buttery and smooth, a' la such influences as Dire Straits, Santana and Widespread Panic. Either way, it's a tasty sound.

This New Orleans [group] has shared the stage with acts such as Gov't Mule, Delbert McClinton and Better Than Ezra. They'll serve up the hot stuff at Tres Hombres, 116 W. Midland Ave., Woodland Park, at 9:30 tonight and Saturday night.
